Obituary for Inetha White Roberts

Inetha White Roberts was born on July 8, 1931 to the late Johnny White and Rosetta Castleberry White in Brushlot, Florida. Inetha was baptized at an early age at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church in Flemington, Florida. She was educated at Marion County Public school system. She peacefully passed away on April 23, 2020. Inetha was preceded in death by her loving husband, Anderson "Peter" Roberts, Sr., and siblings; Leila Rackard, Leon White, Fulton “Love” White, Dorothy Lewis, Frances Sherman, Johnny “Buddy” White, Luella Collins, Veronica Kannady, Minnie Kemp and Olester “Lester” White.
Inetha began her career with the Marion County Public school as a bus driver and retired after 25 years of service. Inetha was a loving sister and mother. She was faithful and dedicated to her family. She also had a kind and caring heart and would welcome anyone who appeared at her door. Inetha was an excellent cook and was well known for her delicious Tea Cakes. She loved to laugh and tell interesting stories of her life’s journey. Above all, Inetha instilled a very strong work ethic within her children and encouraged the best in everything they pursued.
She leaves to cherish her loving memories: five sons, Alfonso “Bo” White (Harrietta), Anderson “Peewee” Roberts Jr. (Denice), Bernard Roberts, Gary Roberts (Lisa), Tracy Roberts Sr.(Susie); daughters, Marguerite C. Townsend (Curtis), Dalphine Hammond, Lisa Watson (Harlise); 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; sister: Loretta Brooks; sister-in-law: Rosa Lee Roberts; brother-in-law: Gladston Kemp; special great-nephew: Brian Edgecombe, special great-niece Brianna Edgecombe; special godson: Alphonso Wilson and a host of nieces nephews, cousins and friends.
